"No winter lasts forever; no spring skips its turn." ~ Hal Borland

While the date of these photos was April 3rd, it really seemed a bit more like April Fool's! One thing that we can be grateful for in our early return from Florida is that the weather has been unseasonably mild. We really have not had to deal with the winter that February and March can bring to Central New York. This cold blast promises to melt in the next day or two, but there are still some flurries in the forecast! No complaints - we have been very lucky.

It seems hard to believe, but we are just about at a standstill with our packing. We walk in circles, throwing loose odds and ends into boxes, but also remembering that we have to live, sleep and eat here for the next month. More than once I've had to unpack a box in order to get at something that we need.

I'm trying really hard to remember that patience is a virtue - but when I think of how all of this "down time" could be spent unpacking in a new home - well, I'm not very patient!

  1. "Frozen in time". But just as no spring skips its turn, you will come to a time when it will be all about the unpacking. Good luck! Enjoy!
